Jane Kern

Senior Manager Impact Finance, Bank Australia

Jane Kern is responsible for measuring and reporting on how Bank Australia’s lending and investments impact people and planet, and for developing retail lending programs designed to have a positive impact. Recently she brought to market the bank’s Clean Energy Home Loan – a mortgage that rewards customers who buy or build green homes, or make ambitious green upgrades – backed by investment from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation. Prior to joining Bank Australia, Jane worked with BASE, a Swiss foundation focused on driving investment in sustainable energy, and Australian Red Cross. Jane holds a Master of Sustainable Development from the University of Basel, Switzerland, and Bachelors of Business and Communications from Monash University.
