Byron Fay 

Executive Director – Climate 200

Byron Fay is Executive Director of Climate 200, the community crowdfunding initiative with
11,200 donors from all 151 electorates across Australia. At the 2022 federal election, Climate 200’s donors levelled the playing field for pro climate pro-integrity and pro-gender equity community-backed independents, helping to elect 6 new independent MPs, one independent Senator, and pushing another three seats marginal.

Byron is a climate strategist, former Paris Agreement negotiator and former adviser to Tim Storer, the independent Senator for South Australia in the 45th Parliament. Byron also worked for a Biden-aligned Political Action Committee during the 2020 US presidential
election, and is a proud descendant of the Dharug Nation.
