Senior Portfolio Manager - Impact Investment, Australian Retirement Trust
Julianne joined Australian Retirement Trust in October 2024 to lead the development of ART’s Impact Investment strategy. With a wealth of experience in the finance and charity sectors, Julianne brings a unique and a visionary approach to her role.
Before joining ART, Julianne served as the Head of Impact Investing at Save the Children Global Ventures, where she led Save the Children Australia’s pioneering child-focused impact investment Fund. Her innovative leadership at Save the Children brought new investors and managers into the field of impact investing.
Julianne’s career spans over 20 years of legal and commercial expertise. She spent more than 15 years at Macquarie Group, culminating in her role as General Counsel and Global Head of Legal & Tax for Corporate Asset Finance.
Her extensive experience includes working in asset finance, real estate structured finance, corporate lending, venture capital, funds management, new products, acquisitions, and divestments – across multiple jurisdictions.
Julianne began her career as a lawyer in private practice with Corrs Chambers Westgarth and also served as General Counsel at The Fred Hollows Foundation.
