2025 Summit Speakers

Tanna’s passion for education is driven by her experiences as a proud Aboriginal and South Sea Islander student in the education system. Through her lived experience, Tanna felt inspired to become a teacher to share her cultural knowledge with educators and students in systems where First Nations perspectives, histories, and cultures are often underrepresented. As a qualified Secondary English and Humanities teacher with four years of teaching experience and leadership in First Nations education and Student Wellbeing, Tanna now applies her knowledge as the First Nations Education Specialist at Cool.org. With her experience in First Nations education, Tanna’s work aims to provide teachers with authentic resources that amplify truth-telling and reconciliation in education, a key focus of Cool.org’s mission.
