Emily is an executive director and member of the fifth generation at Alberts, an Australian family business that has backed pioneers since 1885 to create a vibrant and sustainable future for all. Alberts’s diverse activities include impact investing, philanthropy, advocacy, and collaboration.

As Head of Impact, Emily drives the implementation of our impact framework, focused on equality, mental health, sustainability, and vibrant culture, ensuring that achieving a positive impact is at the heart of everything we do. A core part of this is backing pioneering, early-stage startups working to solve some of the world’s most critical issues, through Alberts Impact Ventures.

Emily also leads Alberts | The Tony Foundation’s Music Education: Right from the Start. This national collaborative initiative advocates for systemic change so that all Australian primary school children can access the transformative benefits of a quality, sequential, and ongoing music education.

A Social Impact and Sustainability Strategist, Emily has worked with not-for-profits, corporates, and governments in Australia and the UK to enhance their social impact. She is a board director at Alberts, an investment committee member for The Tony Foundation, and director of Australia’s first impact investing network, The Impact Club. Emily holds an INSEAD MBA.
