Mark Ingram

Mark Ingram is the Chief Impact Officer of Brightlight. He leads the impact strategy for Brightlight to achieve our purpose of transforming lives at scale.

Before joining Brightlight, Mark was the founding CEO of Business for Development for ten years, an organization that builds inclusive agribusiness enterprises globally to solve extreme poverty among smallholder farmers. Mark has also had extensive experience with trade, investment, and aid organizations, including World Vision, and was the New Zealand Consul General to Victoria and NZ Trade Commissioner for Biotechnology. 

At Brightlight, he enjoys the diverse workload across emerging markets and developed economies, traversing various impact themes such as financial inclusion, community infrastructure, indigenous economy, disability housing, and MSME finance. He navigates the different impact investment products for clients building faith-driven portfolios while committed to impact authenticity.
