Katherine Leong

Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer – Unseen

Katherine has developed a career that specialises in delivering innovative solutions to address complex systemic problems. We are all bit players in complex systems change and her contribution, as a “dreamer who does”, is to bring her intrapreneurial skills to drive social change through large organisations.  

Her experiences from working within corporate, government and the NFP sectors help shape a collaborative shared value approach to addressing the SDGs. She met the League of Intrapreneurs and attended their first Global Fellowship in Paretz (Germany) in 2018 and found herself part of a global community of kindred spirits!

Curiosity has led to her to some very interesting places, people and careers opportunities. Her more interesting challenges have covered developing a sustainable program for the Victorian Government to address the current affordable rental crisis, addressing the “valley of death” for scalable social enterprises through a capacity grant program and supporting Lively, a social enterprise that employs big-hearted young people to offer flexible support for older people in their local community.
