Carlos Castillo

Portfolio Manager – Melior Investment Management

Carlos Castillo is a Portfolio Manager at Melior. He has 19 years’ experience in financial markets. Carlos was previously at Ellerston Capital where he was part of a six person team managing around $3b in Australian equities. He also worked as a portfolio manager at AMP Capital where he was part of a 10 person team managing more than $12b in Australian equities. Carlos’ ESG experience includes time at AMP Capital helping to manage the Australian Equities Sustainable fund and a corporate strategy and sustainability role at CSR Ltd. Carlos has covered a wide range of sectors over the course of his analyst career including industrials, consumer discretionary, financials, healthcare, consumer staples and utilities. Carlos began his investment career on the sell side covering financials. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Business Economics) and a Master of Commerce (Business Strategy) from the University of New South Wales.
