Krzysztof Dembek

Dr Krzysztof Dembek is a strategic Impact management and sustainable business models expert with over two decades of experience as a manager, consultant, researcher, and teacher. Krzysztof driven by the need to regenerate our social and ecosystems and ensure ‘wicked problems’ are solved in a way that they do not create new, or aggravate existing, issues.

Krzysztof is a senior lecturer at the Centre for Social Impact (CSI) Swinburne, and a visiting professor at WSB University in Gdansk, Poland and a co-founder of Impactability Solutions, an impact strategy and management advisory team. He is also a founding member of Values 20, an engagement group that provides advice to the G20 leaders on values-based and human-centered policy as well as a member of the BLab Regional Standards Advisory Board that co-shapes certification and impact assessment processes of BCorps.

Krzysztof’s work bridges disciplinary and sectorial silos and spans across many industries including pharmaceutical, forestry, mining and food. He applies systems perspective to advance regeneration and address climate crises and other complex problems. He works with investors, companies and governments applying innovative business models, and impact management methods to inform their strategic decision making and to design solutions that deliver both impact and value.
